Claus Gerber
Claus Gerber has a wide range of experience in major international M&A transactions, including the acquisition of targets and assets out of bankruptcy, private equity and venture capital and leveraged finance transactions. He has advised US, Scandinavian, French and other international clients on negotiating change of control transactions, joint ventures and related financing.
His clients mainly work in the banking, technology, automotive and transportation industry. He is fluent in both German and English and has practiced law in Germany and New York.
Monika Beckmann-Petey
Monika has a Doctorate in law from the University of Cologne (1989). She worked as a Research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Private Law in Hamburg from 1983 to 1987. Later she worked as a Freelancer at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Private Law in Hamburg from 1987 to1988.
Since 1991 she has worked as an Attorney in Büsing, Müffelmann & Theye, Bremen, and a partner since 1994. She is also a Notary Public since 2007. From 2008, she has worked as a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law. She is currently the President of the Bremen Chamber of Notaries, a Member of the Executive Board of the Bremen Bar Association and Member of the Bremen Lawyers’ Association.
